NEW blog, NEW happy mail, NEW kit

I have spent years blogging about my personal life and my kids so I am taking on a new hobby, blogging about crafting.  I have been a scrapbooker for the better part of the past 20 years.  I was the girly girl that would sit in my room and make things for as long as I can remember.  I never owned a game system, didn't run around with many friends and I was in my 20s before my parents had internet that wasn't dial-up.  So, I crafted, a lot.  And, I loved it.

Yesterday was NSD, so I figured, I am on a roll this year on my first ever Project Life album.  I am currently just working monthly and staying up to date with my months, so my current goal is going back to start a PL album with my 2012 Instagram photos.  I am a HUGE fan of Persnickety Prints, their 3x4 Instagram polaroids are awesome.

Anyways, I wanted to post a few pictures from this past week.  I have been stocking up on PL goodies.  A lot of my embellishments that I currently had on hand were pretty bulky, so I had been hanging out at The Scrap Yard on Facebook, buying leftover goodies from other ladies for awesome cheap prices.  Look at my Happy Mail from this week!
This is happy mail.  Ya know, the fun stuff that you rush in from work and race to the mail box to get to.  The stuff that is not your dreaded electric bill, or the doctor's bill.  Ya, this is awesome.  Lots of Scrap Yard goodies here and a super batch of prints from Persnickety Prints.  Love them!

Like, I mentioned about yesterday, NSD, I worked on April's PL pages.  I have one single last page to work on for April 29th, which was the day the carnival was in town.  I took loads of pictures that I have yet to order.  Putting that on my to do list.  Anyways, a look at the madness.
Evidence my youngest, Isaiah was there.  Isaiah will be six in June.  He is an awesome kid.  Full of energy, incredibly brilliant with patterns, puzzles and shapes.  And he is the only child I have ever seen with 6 pack.  That is what happens though when you have ADHD and Autism.
My oldest is Keaton.  He is pretty rockin too.  He loves to preform.  Singing, dancing and playing instruments.  He loves every sport he has since played; soccer, flag football and basketball.  And he is graduating from being a Tiger Scout to a Wolf Scout in a little over a week.  He is adorable in his uniform, me too, I am the den leader and the cubmaster of our pack.

And my most favorite news of the weekend...I am finally ACTIVE on my Studio Calico dashboard to receive my first ever Project Life kit.  GAH!  But in the next week or so, I have some amazing SC happy mail coming, the SC Halley's Comet Project Life add on.  THIS.

AHH!  Well, I guess that is my recap from this week and my NSD crafting mess.  Tomorrow in the good ole sunlight, I shall start photographing my PL pages.

Tomorrow is Monday, enjoy it!

Re Introducing Me

I'm Kasey. Turn a year older ever December 30th (I and getting too close to my 30s) and live in Indiana. Mom to 2 boys that are both elementary school aged now.  I have a kitty named Hamilton and a guinea pig named Pigster and way too many fishies.  Want some?

I love my church and my faith is important to me.  I am an avid scrapbooker, I have been memory keeping for the better part of the past 20 years.  I love snapping photos of my kids, they are awesome.

Currently I am obsessed with Imagine Dragons Radioactive and Muse Madness.  Mexican food, although I am trying to hop back on the healthy eating train as it is nearly swim suit season again.  Loving cute owls, craft supplies, decorating my house.  The colors green, mint, peach and turquoise.  Leggings, denim shirts and my TOMS forever.

I work for a children's art company called Art to Remember based out of Indianapolis, it is highly likely your kids have a magnet with their art work printed on it at home from the past 15 years.  :)  I went to a beauty college and studied cosmotology and I do hair on the side.  And I am a busy Cub Scout mom turned Den Leader turned Cub Master.  And I am an Independent Designer @Origami Owl.
